WebXR deploy notes for uneven mobile networks

WebXR performance deploy
Tokyo fiber is not Hokkaido commuter LTE. We teach students to budget bytes per interaction, not per page, because immersive entry points often happen mid-commute.
Split meshes by interaction zone. Prefetch only what the user can reach in the first thirty seconds. Provide a desktop orbit path that mirrors the immersive layout so QA can still review when headsets are charging.
Caching headers matter as much as geometry. We show Cloudflare and Netlify examples, but the principle is portable: immutable assets, short HTML TTL, and versioned filenames.
We do not promise global CDN perfection. We do require a written plan for what fails gracefully when assets time out.
